چکیده
Cemented tailings backfill (CTB) is continually practiced in a large number of metallic mines for re-filling underground ore extraction areas. Re-filling these areas can boost the security mining teams during construction. Hence, CTB’s durability/ductility extremely vital to ensure safety entire mine. In this study, layered-fiber-reinforced CTB (LFR-CTB) was manufactured using polypropylene fiber (PPF) increase strength and flexibility backfilling. The bending features LFR-CTB specimens were explored through three-point test SEM microanalysis. Test findings pointed out that flexural 14-day-cured without delamination with cement showed ratio 1:4 largest among others. Residual greater than those delamination. Accumulating effectively improved features. CTBs presented average modulus values. LFR-CTBs toughness index values ordinary specimens. Adding facilitated progress post-peak rigidity. containing high-fiber dimensional height have excellent properties. damage mode all chiefly tensile damage. overall bonding presence interlayer interfaces outstanding, not affecting their performance. Ettringite CSH gels found be key hydration materials. addition filling has an inhibitory impact on extension cracks occurring within Finally, study’s consequence deliver technical guideline reference order reveal LFR-CTB’s enhancement mechanism industrial applications.

Influence of High Temperatures on Flexural Strength of Foamed Concrete Containing Fly Ash and Polypropylene Fiber
In this study, the elevated temperature flexural strengths of lightweight foamed concrete (LFC) containing fly ash (FA) and polypropylene fiber (PF) was investigated experimentally and statistically. The variables included were the temperature degrees (in a range of 20 to 600°C), LFC densities of 600, 800, 1000, 1200 and 1400 kg/m3 and additive content. Two mixes were made by replacing 15% and ...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Flexural Behavior of Cementitious Composites Reinforced by Synthetic Fibers
The application of fibers to reinforce cementitious materials is a well-known subject. At first, asbestos fibers are used in industrial process to produce fiber reinforced cement sheets. Thereafter, various types of synthetic fibers are produced and used as asbestos substitutes. The aim of the present work is to evaluate the effect of synthetic fibers on the flexural behavior of cementitious co...

15 صفحه اولThe influence of cellulose pulp and cellulose microfibers on the flexural performance of green-engineered cementitious composites
The aim of this study was to investigate the flexural behavior of engineered cementitious composites (ECCs) reinforced by cellulose pulp (CP) and cellulose microfibers (CMF). The reinforcements were obtained from chemical-mechanical treatments of Kraft paper and used in ECC mix design. Results showed that cement reinforced by CP exhibited a strain-hardening behavior in the three-point bending t...
